Tiffany is another 80s top favourite of mine… simply because her songs are remarkable and truly touching. I came to know her when I was 10 years old. If my memory serves me right, it was during the “All This Time” sensation. I just couldn’t resist writing about her just like other 80s artists I featured here. She doesn’t just have beautiful voice but a truly rare beautiful face and soul. She’s also the voice behind the songs, Can’t You See, I think We’re Alone Now, It’s the Lover Not The Lover, If Love is Blind and Could’ve been.
If you can’t still remember her… then you better watch this video.
One of my favorite 80s singers is a lead singer of Sergio Mendes . He is Joe Pizzulo. I’ve come to know him 3 years ago when he had an international tour. That time, I thought it’s Sergio Mendes’ voice that is behind my most loved songs of 80s but it was Joe Pizzulo.
One of his remarkable songs is “Never Gonna Let You Go.” It was included in Sergio Mendes self titled albumin 1983. Other songs he popularized includes: Take This Love, What do We Mean to Each Other, Let’s Give a Little More This Time and Rainbow’s End. Joe Pizzulo is also a highly acclaimed background singer for many popular artists such as Barry Manilow, Janet Jackson,Patti LaBelle, Dionne Warwick, Roger Daltry, Engelbert Humperdinck, Melissa Manchester, Spandaut Ballet and a lot more.
So the next time, you hear such beautiful 80s songs mentioned above, remember the voice.. remember Joe Pizzulo. =)

As I’ve said over and over again, I’m an 80’s baby. Growing up with the music of 80’s is something that I’m proud of. If I’m to compare the music of today and yesterday, I would always fall in between – 80’s.
For me the 80’s music and artists are more sincere with their craft. Just like how the movie stars drop their line in movies, their music also comes the heart. From the lyrics to the melody to how it was sung, I just can’t help but love every song produced in this era.
Knowing that many artists are having their reunion and comeback concerts this year excites me even more. I heard Spandau Ballet is having their world tour and just recently the Journey and Rick Astley. If I’ll be given a chance to request, I would love to see the following artists on stage again.
Angela Bofill – Oh! I just love her voice
Tiffany – love her songs more
Sheena Easton – I’m still not over her…
James Ingram – just kept the music playing
The Bangles – truly eternal
The Jets – flying with their music
Bryan Adams – missing the husky voice
Patti Austin – I think she had her concert last year
Ambrosia – just love them to come back
Laura Branigan – I couldn’t find her anymore
Chaka Khan – through the limit…
Chicago – they’ve been my inspiration
Klymaxx – Oh I’d still say yes
Christopher Cross – is there something?
Depeche Mode – somebody that you’ll love
Teri DeSario – I’m falling…
Firehouse – where are they?
Guns N’ Roses – is Axl Rose still alive?
Crystal Gayle – I never gave up on you
Olivia Newton John – honestly…
David Foster – I saw him on TV last time
Kenny G. – hmmmm….
Whew… that’s a pretty long list- that’s incomplete anyways. Can you still remember their names? Oh I have their CDs and I just can’t wait but to hear them singing it again.. live…
