Relive the days when Michael Jackson is still black with this music video that’s making every party the spookiest ones every year. Any Halloween party is definitely not complete without “Thriller”

Oct 27, 2008 Author: anna | Filed under: Song List

As continuation of my posts regarding the all time best duets of male and female, here’s my list of duets performed by both females. Because there are lots of female duets, I chose these songs according to my criteria :: lyrics and melody. The performers are plus factors of course. Here’s my very own list.

1. Tell Him- Celine Dion & Barbara Streisand
2. When You Believe - Mariah Carey & Whitney Houston
3. I Know Him So Well - Elaine Page & Barbara Dickson
4. I Say A Little Prayer For You - Whitney Houston & Natalie Cole
5. Baby Don’t You Break My Heart Slow - Vonda Shepard & Indigo Girls

Pretty nice list, isn’t it? =)

Sincere Prayer for Jennifer Hudson & Her Family

Oct 25, 2008 Author: anna | Filed under: Music News

The news about the death of Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother has been really devastating. I supposed many people have already blogged the details of this tragedy so I won’t report it anyway. Instead, I would like to offer a simple and sincere prayer for Jennifer and the rest of her family. I’m a fan and I have a mother and brother as well. There’s no more painful than losing someone from this form of death.

I sympathize the entire Hudson’s family and pray that justice will prevail for them. I also pray that whoever did this to them will not be in peace until he/she realizes his/her fault. May the Good Lord give you all more strength to pass this ordeal. Life may not be fair but GOD Is ALWAYS FAITHFUL.

Let’s Get Physical… Physical…

Oct 24, 2008 Author: anna | Filed under: my stuffs...

These past few months, I feel that I’m getting hefty. With more than 16 hours in front of the computer and lots of finger foods within my reach, there’s no doubt that I’ll gain more weight in the coming days.
I used to play badminton but I stopped three months ago due to my hectic schedule at work. While my body is still yearning for some exercises each morning, I oftentimes ended up sitting with my laptop to check emails.

So if I can’t play badminton again and do some jogging in the morning, I decided to just take some diet over the food I intake. I read some diet reviews including the right food to eat and other simple exercises that I can do. I admit it will take me some time to gain back that old figure but I’m positive with it –I’m skinny from the start.

The song “Let’s Get Physical” simply gets me up and do some walking. As a matter of fact, I made it my encouraging song which I try to play every morning. Kinda’ weird but inspiration and determination is all I need to gain back my confidence. Oh, I just talked to some of my badminton playmates and we’re having our session this coming weekend – just after I ended this post!

Oct 21, 2008 Author: anna | Filed under: WikiMusicGuide

In line with the duets I listed with my last post, I became inspired with this song from Rick Springfield and Randy Crawford -Taxi Dancing. This song is kinda’ old but I heard this just recently. I looked for its MTV but it has been deleted. Instead, I found this “still video” with the song embedded. Glad as I’am to share it with you, I decided to pick it up and post it here. Hope that you’ll enjoy it as much as I do.

TAXI DANCING

(words and music by Rick Springfield)
(DUET WITH RANDY CRAWFORD)

I think that it’s high time we had a talk
I think that we’re making a big mistake
I’ve been feeling lately the magic is gone
Are we just together for convenience sake
Baby

“Feeling”
I don’t believe it
“Tied down”
I don’t think that’s true
“Need to”
It’ll just pass if we allow it to
“Break free”
It’s just a stage we’re going through
“They say clean cuts”
I think you’re just restless for something new
“Heal much faster”

Baby, feeling like we pay our dime
And all we get in return
Is a piece of each other’s time

Are we just taxi dancing
Lost somewhere in a slow dance for two
And the band that was playing
Has finally stopped playing our favorite song

Are we just taxi dancing
You’re paying for me and I’m paying for you
And are we holding on to a feeling with desperation

Oh, don’t know if you’re right
Don’t know if you’re wrong
Seems to me we haven’t danced for long

Don’t make it hard
“I won’t”
Don’t make it easy
“Hold you”
We’ll just walk away
“If you”
At the end of the song
“Must go”

Baby, put one last nickel in the jukebox
Give that love we once felt
Just one final spin around

‘Cause we’re just taxi dancing
Lost somewhere in a slow dance for two
And the band that was playing
Has finally stopped playing our favorite song
And we’re just dancing

And the band that was playing
Has finally stopped playing our favorite song
Are we just taxi dancing
You’re paying for me and I’m paying for you
And are we holding on to each other in desperation

Taxi dancing

Enjoy!!!
