Carrie Underwood Bagged Awards at CMT

“It was at the CMT Awards last year that I gave my very first acceptance speech ever… Let me tell you, it’s great to be up here again. Thank you, fans. I’ve had such an amazing, blessed two years. I started out on a fan-based show, and you guys have continued to support me throughout everything. … Everybody around me has been so amazing. We’re so blessed. I hope we continue to be blessed because this is awesome.” – Carrie Underwood’s acceptance speech on CMT awards.
The American Idol fourth Season champion, Carrie Underwood bagged three awards at CMT Music Awards on April 16. The country singer proved once again that she deserves to be an American Idol. Her chart topping song “Before He Cheats” gave her three (3) awards that include Video of the Year, Female Video and a Video Director of the Year for Roman White.
Carrie has truly gone a long way. A woman like her with marvellous talent and humble heart deserves all of these awards. She’s a living proof that dreams do come true. Congratulations, Carrie!!!
