McCartney signs for Starbucks

Starbucks Coffee, the largest specialty coffee chain has recently announced its newest venture to release established yet new acts to showcase a different kind of music. Hear Music, based in Los Angeles, California had already released a number of licensed songs and sold several successful albums owing to its more than 13,500 outlets that sell them.
Starbucks had already marketed books and helped produce a feature-length movie aside from producing and selling some albums in the past.
Recently, Paul McCartney was announced to be the first major artist to sign the coffee shop’s music label. His album is expected to be released June of this year and will be available to all music lovers thru Starbucks outlets and thru iTunes.
