Everybody’s talking about DreamGirls, anywhere! The phenomenal success of DreamGirls Movie has not just given us quality and true musical piece but an inspiring story of hope and dreams. Starring Beyonce Knowles, Jennifer Hudson Jamie Foxx and Eddie Murphy, DreamGirls Movie is an adaptation of the famous and award-winning Broadway musical act that opened in December of 1981. The story evolves around an African-American female singing trio called “The Dreams” who later on fulfilled their dreams to become superstars.
Just recently, DreamGirls Movie bagged the major awards including 8 Academy Award Nominations, 3 Golden Globe Awards Trophy for Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor and Actress, 4 Broadcast Film Critics Awards and 7 Critics’ Choice Award Nominations. With this enormous recognition from the film industry, critics and audiences, Dream Girls is definitely a must-see movie of the year.
Dream Girls Movie Soundtrack also made a great impact to people who’d already watched the film. The Song “Listen” received nomination from Critics’ Choice Award and took home the Best Song and Soundtrack awards from Broadcast Film Critics’ awards. Indeed, DreamGirls is a dream come true to every single actor, crew, writer and producer included in the film as well as the vast audiences who have seen the film and planning to see it soon. DreamGirls is a highly recommended film for all ages who loves music. A very hopeful musical film of all time, I must agree.
