My Idols are on My Shirt!

Posted at 2:57 am By: anna| Filed Under my stuffs...

I was actually looking for some new stuff about the Beatles when I spotted the TShirt Ville. As you know, Beatles is one of my ultimate favourite bands and nowadays, it’s really hard to find memorabilia and unique bits and pieces about them. I have all of their albums and all my shirts with their faces are just left hanging in the closet, they were all faded.

While browsing in the net, I came across one shirt with John Lennon’s popular face. What excites me more is the color of the shirt, it’s black. Glad as I am, I decided to explore the TshirtsVille and found more interesting and really cute music t-shirts of my idols. And without thinking twice, I immediately picked the shirt with Imagine Portrait of John Lennon and a couple of simple yet classy “The Beatles” shirt with texts and their faces.

As I’m so excited to show it to my friends who are Beatles aficionados too, I immediately wore it without even washing. Fortunately, they all got interested and now waiting for their orders to arrive. We all think that this is really cool! Looking at the shirt reminds me of their glorious days. I know they will never be seen perform live ever again!

Oh! By the way, I also bought a Supergirl t-shirt–Pink Glitter along with my music t-shirts. I’m just so happy to have them all and be the first ones to own such beautiful shirts. I’m still planning to buy more when I get my allowance next week. ^_^. Thank you mom!

Now, they are down to six!

Posted at 8:50 am By: anna| Filed Under my stuffs...

I’ve been an avid fan of American Idol since the first season. I saw Kelly Clarkson’s winning moment and now waiting for the Season’s 7 winner.

Now, they’re down to six, namely David Cook, Carly Smithson, Syesha Mercado, Kristy Lee Cook and David Archuleta. They are all good and deserve the spots. But for me, the male contenders have all promising careers and may be one o f them is the next American Idol.

Want to know my bet? This will be our little secret, aryt? It’s David Cook. He’s really consistent! Have you seen his rendition of “You’ll Always be My Baby?” That’s simply amazing and according to Paula and Simon, it’s awesome and daring! Here’s the clip courtesy of YouTube

I’m going to Carrie Underwood’s Concert, how about you?

Posted at 8:49 pm By: anna| Filed Under Upcoming Gigs

She’s actually my bet and I knew in my heart that she’d make it to American Idol. Her stunning voice, amazing and humble personality and great renditions of songs just hooked and made me her number one fan!

She’s a big star now and everyone will agree to me that she truly deserves this success. I’m just so happy that finally I can see Carrie Underwood perform live in her upcoming concert with Keith Urban. Well, I also like Keith Urban coz he’s a great performer but of course I’m still going for Carrie Underwood.

The title of the concert is a combination of the two lead performer’s album, Carrie Underwood’s “Carnival Ride” & Keith Urban’s “Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy Thing.” My friends and I are already planning for this tour so we make sure that we have Carrie Underwood Tickets, the best seats and of course the perfect outfit.

I still remember her during the American Idol days and I guess there are no major changes in terms of appearance, only she is more beautiful now. Nevertheless, I still wonder what she looks like in person and what’s in store for us in their concert. I’m pretty sure that Keith and Carrie will have a duet but what I want to hear most are the live renditions of “Jesus Takes the Wheel” and “Before He Cheats.”

I’m so excited about this event because I barely go out for concerts. I’ve been in two or three but those were just complimentary tickets and now… I’m so much willing to spare my savings just to be in the front seat! Go Carrie!!! I’ll just see you at the concert!
